My respect for Nodoka Haramura keeps rising with every new episode of Saki.
In a world where just about every other successful teenaged mahjong player relies on some sort of superpower (some of them bordering on cheating, yes), Nodoka makes due on pure skill. And she's still one of the very best mahjong players amongst her peers.
Nodoka truly is the Batman of the mahjong world.
