if you answer no when questioned at the beginning of the game if you know "the secret of the world", all EX routes will be disabled until you finish Refrain. The EX routes, especially Sasami's since it is directly after Refrain and mentions what happened there, openly involved with the "secret of the world" so you'll most likely get spoiled if you play them without playing Refrain first.
