This is starting to make a whole lot of sense . I'm aware that vertigo has a lot more to do than just heights, but the feeling is very similar to what I feel when I look off a tall building. I never co-related the two because I didn't think there could be any relation (I still don't know if there is), and since only happens rarely. You might be on to something!
