Here is the sentence of Oro in Japanese:
"この子を見てると・・天才と呼ばれていた自分が惨めに思えてくるわね..."
この子を見てると/ kono ko wo miteru = while looking at this kid
天才/tensai = genius
と呼ばれていた/to yobareteita = was called
自分が/ jibun ga = I'm
惨め/mijime = miserable
に思えてくるわね/ ni omoetekuruwane = look like
The right translation is:
While looking at this kid...(Me) who was called a genius... look miserable.
