I had to laugh when I saw that Daikichi's mother wants grandkids now, at least she has a few young children in the family to fill that role for the moment. I thought that the backstory about her being a working mother was interesting and it caught me by surprise yet it kinda explains why she was so hesitant to take Rin in.
