ask questions to Kuromistsu first doesn't seem to me he wants to kill her but wanted to find her. Then there's also Rai who's head was cut off but she seems to be still alive like Kuro was since she's a vampire now, Kuro seem to have grown fond of her and was even carying her head while escaping with Kuromitsu. So there's still a potential love triangle there.

That's very interesting. I prefered Rai in the anime over kuromitsu myself.
