It's a shonen anime. There's two typical "romantic" scenarios: a.) the male protagonist physicaly attracted to the girl and he even tries to get closer to her. b.)the main guy's female friend gets closer and closer until it she become the guy's lover.

It's not a romance drama nor a shoujo anime, so you hardly can exept any rea lromantic interaction.
