Well, you might experience a not so pleasent effect then. Clothes that are too wet (e.g. spin-dryer did a bad job) or not well vented when drying can become mouldy. Thats because wet clothes are a nice place for the little smelly germs that feel more at home then... which makes them proliferate.
Now just don't ask me why I know that...
