I think it just depends on what romanization system you use. Essentially, both could be correct. But, because the official website is
http://www.kyoshiro-sora.net/ I assume most people will go with that. It also has a romanization on the manga covers; I'll confirm it when I get home. But those extra "u"s are mostly a matter of taste/opinion.
