The new series has been a mixed bag. Some wonderful stuff, mostly written by Moffat - and the show has gotten better under his tenure. But's it's too depressing and self-important, generally speaking, and relies way too much on season-long mysteries. It also imbues the Doctor with way too many human limitations - he's not really alien enough for me anymore. All of the new Doctors have been fine (Tennant is my favorite of the three) and I've liked most of the new assistants OK, with Rory and Donna my favorites. But there's no besting Sarah Jane Smith.

Wait you've seen every episode of Doctor Who ever made?
I wasn't convinced that was even possible. Weren't some of the oldest episodes supposedly lost forever?
