In what we disagree. Maybe the lack of focus contributed to the lackluster relationship, but I still strongly think the chore of the problem is the fact the authors want them to hook up only at the very end , for whatever gain they think the story will get from it (more shipping, suspens, not spoiling an eventual reincarnation twist, whatever) and thus they are keeping them away in very artificial nerve-grating ways.

JinxYunoha was fine while getting a lot less focus.

The main problem is the dragging. More focus would mean the dragging being even more obnoxious and painful to the watcher.
