In this novel, Trident means 2 things.

1. The silver-colored pistol-shape SP CAD used by Tatsuya.

It's a overly customized version of Silver Horn Limited edition, optimized for Tatsuya's abilities.


2. A Magic composed of 3 processes (step/stage), arrainged by Tatsuya to quickly nuetralize an enemy.

the Magic Trident has following processes.
a. The 1st process destroyes Target's Area Interference that protects it (With the use of Gram Dispersion).
b. The 2nd process destroys Target's Data Fortification that protects it (With the use of Gram Dispersion).
c. The 3rd and final process disintegrates Target itself to atom-level (with the use of Mist Dispersion).

These 3 process occurs in a rapid succession, with almost no time lag between them, so to the others, it only looks as if the target suddenly blurrs and turns into dust.

※ The 13 Strategic-Class Magicians officialy disclosed to the world is called 13 Apostle.
A Strategic-Class Magician refers to a Magician who is capable of using Magic in strategic scale. (city buster, etc.)

7 Sages refers to 7 people who possess very large influencial power (at least national, probably international scale). Each Sage has access to Hlidskjalf, a hacking extension attached to Echelon 3, a system that collects and stores information from all over the world.

So far, only 3 of 7 Sages are identified.
Maya - Head of Yotsuba Family - described in the novel as 'an operator of Hlidskjalf'
Raymond Clark- A high school student - contacted Tatsuya after meeting Shizuku and revealed his identity as well as that of Jid Hague
Jid Hague - Boss of Blansh, an international anti-Magic organization
