B-TON! 10 - I Love to Sing-A

Operation, Vivid Midori! There hasn't been a whole lot of focus on the school in this show, opting more for stories about the market (of course), but even this episode adds to the tapestry of the world being created. The characters in the Baton Club (besides the mains) look like they have their own stories that could be told in a spinoff. Tamako Market ~The Baton Club's Youthful Days~ or something. Saya and the twins. Because that hairstyle has to become from somewhere. Midori's creative dancer's block was understandable, everyone has moments like that. I thought the music shop guy might provide the song she ended up using, but apparently not. So the twist that everyone kind of already guessed is revealed, but it's clear that Tama loves mochi more than she loves the chance of living on an island, no matter what a prophecy ordains. Never thought her mole would be a sign that she's the real deal. That, or she's a time traveler. These past few episodes have been really strong - all that remains is the closing chapters. And maybe the Prince will come to Usagiyama?
