after the reveal i actually guessed the framing plot twist was coming still it all went down quite fast.
As for maverick, his ability seems to have a touch head only limitation so I'm assuming he killed them in the heat of the moment as they were already calling the cops because he couldn't just reach over and glow hand them in the face.
Anyone else expecting tiger to pull out his old costume at some point?
As a side note we do know that the mind screw can be undone by contradictions in memory, so it's possible he could free people that way.
