"Claymore --- end" still bugs me, but now it's more likely that "END" stands for organization's end, not the end of the manga.

That seems far too silly, if it was that surely it would be put into some sort of narration about how this was the end of Claymores during the reign of the org rather than something that could be blatantly inferred as the end of at least this part of the manga, with perhaps a sequel continuing the rest.

Considering how many manga's can and do end this way, they gain nothing from it but bad publicity if it's just the arc end.
