And we kinda don't want KyoAni switching gears too soon. They jumped right from K-ON! to Haruhi, and Haruhi spent half of its new 2009 episodes shaking off the whole
The Melancholy of Hirasawa Yui art vibe. I'd be cool with them taking a break after Nichijou to properly get back into the K-On! art style.
