Well, I think the idea is that Campiones don't stand out too much from normal humans until they activate their authorities to become god-like. Their passive abilities are substantial but not invincible.

Nope, I have never said a word about the maid outfit short story in Volume 8.
One of Salvatore's authorities is a Norse one, and then you've probably read enough about the whole Perseus-Mithra connection in V4.
