Ali el Saachez was supposed to be the best in MS Melee, effortlessly owning Setsuna in S1 with an Enact, and holding his own fine against both 00 and Seravee in S2. Despite that, in both seasons he lost to the Sniper-Type gundam (S1 was arguably a tie, but still). What's worse, Neil even managed to chop of Ali's sword-arm with a beamsaber, while he's admitted melee's not his strong point. the sword-pro was outclassed on his own field by the sniper who's weak at CQC. Lyle managed to do the same, and using a gun for it only slightly diminishes the shame for Ali. It was still in his prefered range. Not so mighty now, is he?
