1st
The reason behind the request is that Kirino told her manager: "I have a boyfriend, so I can't". Kuroneko and Minami spot them on a date. Kirino gets made when Kyosuke treats her as a sister (?), he doesn't know why. Kirino then says: "Next time, I'll ask my real boyfriend."

2nd
At Ayase's, Kyosuke is probed about whether Kirino really has a BF or not.
Kyosuke(?) explains the "fake boyfriend" situation to Kuroneko.

3rd
Comiket
From beginning to end, there's a strained atmosphere between Kirino and Kuroneko. Saori constantly has to play peacemaker.
Kirino's boyfriend is introduced.

4th
Kirino brings her boyfriend home.
Her father is indignant and watchful.
Kyosuke picks a fight with the BF, and finds out that "It's an act. Kirino-san asked me to"
Clinging to Kyosuke, who still doesn't realise her real feelings, Kirino cries loudly.
Their mother has heard about their "fake lovers" date. Upon witnessing this crying scene, she gets the wrong idea and loses her temper: "Have you finally made a move on your sister!?"

How in the world did that fourth chapter lead up to Kuroneko's confession...????

Someone on 2ch said that the feeling this gives off is that vol 8 might very well be the last one.
