Besides, we already knew the last battle is a "Madoka and Homura" only thing, as revealed by Gen himself in a megami article. So a true "last battle" design should only display these two.

lol not like I did't know. Of course I've seen it in Magazine scans. It doesn't change the fact that their mood/atosphere, everything is making sort of 'last battle' feel. That was my point.
