Proof of it being non-canon? Because I don't see anything that states it was ever non-canon, only that it was a one-shot. And then, a mere 4 months later, they put out a special that officially retired Barbara from action. That isn't much time to discern reaction, write a book, draw said book, ink it, print it, etc.
