Seems you cannot gain a Stigmata if it's not activated. And I'm glad that was explained, as well as it was the difference there's between having just the fragment and having the fragment and the mark: powers are released instant and simultaneously. Amazing, isn't it? Arclight released two different elemental abilities from each hand. In addition I liked the juxtaposition Imai made showing not a single attack would hit him: first individually with Blade, then combined with Teruyama and Mio, and finally everybody through a converging attack.
And once again Imai proves he isn't like the others. Since the beggining of this story there were two possible theories that explained the origins of the needlesses: the spreading contamination lefth in the aftermath of the war, and the jewels of the Second Christ. Imai didn't go the predictable route, proved the two assumptions wrong, and instead he has revealed there was something much bigger behind.
I checked the clash against Strom and Saten didn't have his Stigmata functioning when he forced Blade learn his fragment.
I got my HQ copy just now, so you know what to do.
