I thought it was pretty obvious that it's Kaoru from the future. Feather responds to Kaoru, resides within the same pair of earrings as the Queen of Destruction Kaoru, and has power surpassing all other espers.

I definitely don't like how Hyobu is being developed, though. He's supposed to be unsympathetic to human beings, but he ends up conceding to Minamoto's ideals anyway. There's supposed to be a contrast of ideals between them, but it's not showing very well.

No I think his handling of feather, is quite vicious in the sense that he does kill the black phantom's daughter's psyche, and the only reason why he leaves "yuri" alive is because of the relationship between za children and her. If za children specifically Kaoru weren't attached I feel like he would have killed her.

This arc seems interesting, although for PANDRA to not even be suspicious of PANDORA seems kind of wierd especially when these relationships seem pretty well drawn out. Especially since Minamoto and Sakaki are the dogs of the Japanese government.
