Pretty much everyone outside of Saya, yes, that includes Sassy-chan and Kanata, are within the circle of the Little Busters! towards the end of EX. Would it then be more fitting to the game veterans then, that the extra two are included in the uh... "incident"?

Without spoiling too much, Sassy-chan's route is magical in itself, although if the story had to be modified, then a core component of her route would have to be modified too. For Kanata, it'd be good to show her side of the story they expanded in EX, only without the "feeling of regret" the others have towards her being a technical outsider.
