I didn't notice it until a couple of weeks ago when I reread the story.

It's a small panel, mostly shaded, in Mai's dream. You see Ayako and Masako in the room and the little spirit is fleeing. Then it escapes into the video room and is eaten by the spirit there. Nothing is said in the text about Ayako. But I thought about that picture and realized that the only explanation for the spirit leaving the room was because Ayako had exorcised it.

In vol 5 when Lin asks him to read something he says "Im terrible at reading kanji" Now, Im dont know how relevant this is since I dont know how widly used Kanji is but I would think Naru would be able to read it. That part just kinda confused me alittle.

That part caught my attention too.

For a while I debated whether Naru or Lin made the statement. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is saying the speech bubble. I finally decided it was Naru who said it. I understand that kanji is difficult to read even for the Japanese. But considering how smart Naru is, it surprised me that he would have difficulty reading kanji. Actually, I was also surprised that he would admit to having a problem in the first place. LOL
