It is an expensive weapon. The manufacture cost is rather high for a sniper rifle of 7.62x51mm, thus it is not adopted as a standard issue SR in most countries.
Most military and law enforcement opt for the Accuracy International rifles, namely the L96. They are cheaper to produce and are almost as reliable.
