The result? The local telecast ended about 3 hours after Pacquiao's actual victory.
As for the prize money of $12 million, at the exchange rate of Php47 to a dollar, that comes to about half a billion pesos (which is really a lot of money at home).
May I hope that this prize money be spent properly. A toast to the victor, Manny Pacquiao, despite some shortcomings.
