I noticed that more of the Northrend quests, like a few of the original quest chains, get you involved into something. While the first few quests in Icecrown bothered me, but eventually the chains felt like you actually did something or are part of something bigger going down. The Storm Peaks quests got to that level as well. While in the Burning Crusade the quests didn't seem to flow through the story all that well. Or maybe it was just the Alliance quests as I've not yet finished the Horde quest chains in Nagrand yet...through I want to finish that chain. Also never finished all the quests out in Shadowmoon Valley.
