Or it could be a variety of other reasons that lead to the drop in ratings. No need to jump to conclusions and use it support for the popular anti-TM8 sentiment that is going around.
FMA on the other hand I'm only a bit surprised at. How high can you expect the ratings to be for a show that has already been done. Also in general it looks like ratings for other shows went up, so obviously those for other shows must also come down. Still the part that is a bit surprising is that FMA would be one of the hardest hit.
