Well, what happened with Restia is the same as what happened with Iseria. After killing the corrupted part of Restia, she was somehow sealed in some random place and knowing only her name. They'll need to perform the same ritual they did with Iseria. I dont think it was stupid of the author in doing this, I mean, it was the only logical way of showing that Restia was not dead. It's a bit irritating that they'll have to rescue her again but the moment they perform the ritual she'll gain her memories back, which is a lot better than the case with Kamito.
