Haali splitter is, as the name implies, only a splitter - it splits the media "streams" in to different components, such as video, audio, subtitle, etc. Along with the splitter, you need the decoder (codec) for each streams. Otherwise, your explanation of the problem is not very clear - we can't tell exactly what's wrong. Is the video not showing? Audio not playing? Both? Or do you get some error message? Player crashes?
