Well, it was indeed readable as far back as the teaser, by Babs' reactions to the cutie mark talk. Also, the episode does deliver a good message about bullying.
The song, which is both in flavour of Disney musical numbers (what this show is famous for) and a callback to Hanna-Barbera cartoons, is the definite win of the epsiode (although not everyone will like its style, I guess). Applebloom once again showcases the talent she can't discover despite becoming more pro in it with every other CMC episode.
The scenes with the clubhouse tour and the ice-cream eating part in the song are totally kawaii, and Pinkie Pie with her "driving style" is as hilarious as usual.
In total, quite a quality episode. Although my fave CMC ones are still Cutie Pox and Ponyville Confidential, this may take a close second to them.
And now, prepare for something Great and Powerful to arrive in a week!
