You might like Spice and Wolf (both seasons), though it stretches your requirements a little. It is driven equally by romance and by business and economics (you'll learn about exchange rates and margin buying, among other things...), and the romance between the two leads is really only hinted at until the very end. Also (in relation to your other thread), there is not a lot of comedy. The main characters don't quite match what you requested (the female lead doesn't hate the male like Aoba does, and the male lead isn't quite as reticent as Kou is), and there are no childhood past or school elements, but if you can overlook those things, it is a great anime and one of my favorites.
