As for my point of view, there are few scenes where she doesn´t look like a 12 year old, but like a teenager.
Now, grantedly, most of them have been in the last four episodes, so it is progessively becoming better.
OTOH, when she was on the Vajra mothership and was shown that gods-eye view of the battle, her body looked utterly like the one of a child.
