The purpose of this special thread is to allow for viewers of both the 1999 and 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime series to compare the way the plot was presented in these two adaptations of the manga. By creating this thread, it is our hope that such comparisons will no longer occur in the other Hunter x Hunter threads.
Rules- Do NOT discuss any manga content beyond what has been presented in the 2011 anime adaptation, even behind spoiler tags. (If you want to discuss future material, please go to the Manga thread.)
- Do USE properly-labelled spoiler tags for any manga comparisons about content already shown in the 2011 anime (or anything the 2011 anime clearly skipped -- again, no future content).
- Comparisons between the two anime series themselves do not require spoiler tags, remembering again that you can only discuss things up to what was shown in the 2011 anime.
- Do NOT use this thread to discuss anything that is better placed in one of the other relevant Hunter x Hunter threads (see below).
