Spoiler for partial NT3 Ch1 summary:
-Mikoto and Touma reached Hawaii on the same plane, Touma is complaining on how Bardway didn't organize a place to meet up. He was also suffering from trauma as he remembered parachuting off a plane and going at 7000km/hr (Mikoto thought he was just joking).
Mikoto's going all deredere on being alone with Touma, despite knowing she's in deep trouble with the Dorm Manager and Kuroko when she gets back for being gone for more than one night.
-Shiage complains on how Bardway split them up on a whim and not by logic like a strike team, intel team etc. He's stuck with Worst and Kuroyoru~nyan. Worst is having the time of her life making Kuro~nyan suffer trolled completely using her powers, saying cyborgs' natural enemies are electromasters, and Kuro should be glad her internal organs isn't machines or otherwise she'd be dead by now.
-Accel is Bardway's bodyguard, as Bardway's troupe of men in black is too conspicuous. Bardway explained even though Aleister's influence had weakened they'd still all be stopped if they went outside AC on a single plane. Their safety is being bought with time and money of her planning.
-Bardway is luring Gremlin out - by planting live-bombs in the airport and planning on framing them for the terrorist strike (Gremlin won't act if there isn't a real danger, and groups such as them don't like being blamed for things they didn't use and being used by others). Accel thought he really have grown up if he didn't rip the table he's sitting at in half after hearing how Bardway is risking innocent lives.
-Gremlin's agent struck. Bardway's men (like Mark) tried to capture her but all 20 of them got one-hit-KOed. The agent (female and dressed like a princess) used a interpretation on the fairy tale 'Cinderella' for her magic, and speaks french. Touma had to have Mikoto translate everything she says.
Touma fought Cinderella, got kicked between the legs (after being aikido-ed) and went down. Mikoto tried to use lightning but Cinderella used Touma's hand as a shield. Bardway commented Cinderella is Touma's natural enemy as Touma only has a Right Hand for attack and defence, and Cinderella's spells target the legs (crystal shoes -> breaking bones in people's feet; other spells include dancing -> graceful combat, pumpkin carriage -> speed boost) so Touma can't block it or run towards her after he's down. Gremlin sees Touma as their #1 enemy.
Cinderella used Touma as dead-weight to hold down Mikoto, then tried a wide-area nuke spell to take out every Anti-Gremlin force here with magic. Accel even wondered if his reflect can save him from magic.
-Bardway came in at the last second and saved all their behinds by breaking the glass ceiling (three floors up) of the airport and dropped a oil tanker-truck (speeding at 200km/hr) onto Cinderella. Cinderella's spell has a flaw that it "only lasts until midnight", so Bardway faked 'sunrise' by a massive explosion (of 50 tons of fuel) and attached a golden clock onto her staff set at midnight, forcing the concept of 'time's up' onto Cinderella.
Cinderella still lived despite being crushed into pulp as the 'graceful and the perfect match for a prince' part of the princess allowed regeneration.
(see p53 illustration)
-Shiage's group got outside safely when the fighting started, and wondered if everyone's alright. Shiage is wondering where Worst went, and how the heck are they going to survive this trip of Bardway is pulling terrorist stunts everywhere. Bardway shows up and decides to frighten him, Shiage screamed like a girl (and like the painting 'Scream'), while Touma (just arrived) snarked at him.
So yeah, things started off with a bang
