I went back and played that scene with Lelouche meeting the old guy again, and the knight that is always mouthing off, I can't remember his name actually says, "I can't see" when Lelouche has his helmet off. Also instead of just getting a few knightmares from Kyoto now it seems they will be getting fully supplied. I can understand Karen's jealousy of C.C. Karen has been nothing short of 100% loyal to Zero following him even into the most impossible situations, so for another woman to have witnessed Zero's face has to burn.
