MPC, because it's rock-solid and I've used it for years, although if I had to start over again, I'd probably pick The KMPlayer (the one based out of Korea for Windows, not the Linux player of the same name.) The configurability of it is absolutely astounding, and just overall it is a slick, well-done player. I'm always surprised it is not more popular than it is among the viewing community.
