I mean I don't mind if Wakaki wants to take a month long break or so since he never seems to get any breaks at all, but I don't know where that announcement is coming from so I can't really believe it's credibility at the moment...

No no, the next chapter will be available in the new year issue on December 7th(I know, the Japanese manga magazine has weird timing). Shounen Sunday will have 2-3 week break during December though(usually the 2nd week and 4th week of December, and probably 1st week of January although I'm not sure about the January one), so assuming Wakaki doesn't take a break, we'll only get 2 more chapter until January.
