Hm, I don't think there's anything wrong with him personality-wise... he's sweet, intelligent, passionate, a nice catch all-around. I know some people think he's too whiny or self-loathing, but bullying can really destroy a person, especially in extreme and persistent cases like Haruyuki's. I give him credit for remaining a kind and gentle person, traits that many of those who are bullied don't manage to hold onto.
