After seeing how popular she was among the members of the art club, I'm pretty sure she's been putting on an act all along in order to scare Kouichi away from her and ensure the safety of rest of the class. It didn't work out so well, since that only made her more intriguing in Kouichi's eyes. There's no way he could have left such a cute girl alone anyway
I think she's still a bit more quiet and reserved than most girls though. You won't see her act like in Kouichi's fantasy any time soon.
