Nobuna went to attack the Asakura at the end of vol 3, and Nagamasa's father decided to help Asakura despite the alliance the Azai had with Oda against Nagamasa's wishes. Vol 4 was Sagara securing the retreat against the Asakura forces (we also see Asakura Yoshikage there, he's... rather obsessed with Nobuna, and not in a good way either. You'll see more on that when I summarize the rest of vol 5). Vol 5, ch 5 is mostly Nobuna and Sagara fighting the Battle of Anegawa, which is against the Azai-Asakura, where the Asakura do feature quite a bit...

I have read a good chunk of vol 6 and very little of vol 7 (again, Chinese translations), and Asakura are pretty much done as an active threat by then, and Nobuna and Yoshiharu were busy taking care of other stuff.
