Dude, you have been reading too much DxD. True Campione? True Camel? There's no way he could have powers that are way stronger than what Verethragna was able to do. It would be great alone if he could use his powers freely as Verethragna was able to do so.

1.) I agree with the rest about Godous’ lack of Authority. His main authority, the “Ten Incarnations”, is strong but carries strict restrictions that would only unlock depends on the situation. But there is some situation that could kill him instantly.
The Ram only activates if he’s on the verge of death but it will not save him if he’s killed instantly. The Warrior, which is the most powerful form, still requires knowledge of the Gods he’ll be facing; so he either stocks up knowledge or waiting for the visions of Yuri. He could at least use the Warrior as his last hit or at least sever an annoying aspect of the God he’s facing that would be advantageous to him.
Even with Ama no Murakumo’s influence to the Ten Incarnations, it’s still not enough to grant him a safe victory just like what happen to him against Athena in Vol. 9, Black Prince in Vol.10, and Circe in Vol. 13.
2.) I’m not sure what the Author had in mind for Godou but ,seriously, he needs new authorities to increase his arsenal and survival. Among all the Campiones, each has 2 or more authorities in their arsenal with knowledge about magic to boot. All of them haven’t experienced death, though I’m not sure about Voban’s situation in Vol. 2, except for Godou, who died like 5x I guess.
The series has already 13 volumes and Godou is still stuck with 2 Authorities. He already fought Verethragna, Melquart, Athena, Perseus/Mithras, Sun Wukong, Lancelot of the Lake, (Vol. 12 enemy?), and Circe.
In the span of half a year or so, he had fought 8 Gods after becoming a Campione (among all the Gods he had faced, 3 or 4 Gods have killed, 1 was stolen a kill, 1 (I forgot how he deals with Melquart), 1 depleted her own divine powers on her volition). He fought two Steel Gods but never succeed in stealing their authorities, it was a shame and once in a lifetime chance was missed to increase his authority.
3.) I think that Campione! would reach to Vol. 20; so in the next seven volumes, we would see if Godou will have new authorities by then. It doesn’t mean that Vol. 20 is the end. Even I’m not sure how long will this series go. That’s what I mean. I just want to see if Godou will have something new for the next seven volumes. Maybe there is a time skip between the next 7 volumes. Who knows?
4.) I would like some suggestions from others about the next God that Godou will be facing. These are my suggestions:
- Hercules might not be a bad choice. Not only he would gain herculean strength but also his “12 Labors” will be his authority.
- Odin is a good choice as well. He’ll gain the spear, the familiar, the eye, etc.
- Hindu Gods , I’m not sure about these guys, they’re simply too powerful to handle but if they were defeated powerful authorities will be granted.
- The Sisters of Fate just like Prince Alecs’ Furies. Controls time and such.
- Thor, God of War & Thunder is a powerful choice. He would gain Mjolnir, commands the power of thunder, and his familiars.
- Lucifer the Fallen Angel an angel from the Bible who was once a famous angel but pride got the best of him and became fallen.
- 7 Princes of Hell I wonder if he will face a Fallen Angel or Devil, something new for once.
- Gilgamesh But still I wonder what kind of power he’ll display unlike the other version of him in Fate/Zero.
- Nike the Goddess of Victory
- Diarmuid
- One of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
These are the gods that I can come up with, though some of them are dangerous. If you have any Gods that will be Godou’s next opponent, feel free to give me a name.
5.) I can’t say that the Ten Incarnations are a burden, on its own way, but it’s still his main powerful authority. Unless if he’s able to get a new authority that would protect him while not relying to the restrictions of the Ten Incarnations, that way he can defend himself against any foes and protect his comrades in any situation.

Dude, Godou has already fought Heracles. In fact, Heracles was the first god he ever fought. He fought Godou under the name of Verethragna. As for Hindu gods, Verethragna is also a hindu god under the name of Indra. Basically, Verethragna is Ares, Heracles, Nergal, Horus and also Indra--much like Perseus is also Mithra,Mithras and Sol Invictus. Also, the problem with Godou is that because of the stringent limitations, most of the time, he does not beat his opponents. He draws most of the time. The only time he actually won decisively on his own against genuine opponents(gods or campiones) were his first fight with Athena, the one with Lancelot and Verethragna .And even then, he had to rely on his followers most of the time to win--which was clearly not an option when a deity notices this in vol nine. Other campiones can usually just solo their opponents. The Black Prince's subordinates always arrive eating dust, the fight over and Alec himself long gone. For this reason, Alec is my favourite campione, not Godou.Persian Warlord is hence a defective authority. Godou needs something that could go the extra mile apart from just drawing.
