*Other considerations for that adjective, were 'Inscrutable', 'Sublime', 'Dark', or 'Concealed'. 'Veiled' was chosen for it's poetic value, and because it's a 'poetic' word used to describe that property of the AIN Soph. Placing a word like 'Concealed' or 'Inscrutable' in lyrics can be altogether too cumbersome. - Rei.
Footnotes:
[1] - The God[dess] (herein represented as 'Hermes Trismegistus', assigned to Spica) is speaking in anything we enclose in "quotes", Dreams without Endings is an expression of the eternal nature of the reality that is being upheld. Note that Hermes Trismegistus is analogous to the role/aspect fulfilled by the Egyptian 'Thoth'.
[2] - Corresponds to Hermes Trismegistus in the Kabbalist tradition.
[3] - 22 Paths of the Tree of Life of the 10 Sephiroth.
[4] - One Thousand Points of Light.
[5] - "From Negative to Positive, through Potential Existence, eternally vibrates the Divine Absolute of the Hidden Unity of processional form masked in the Eternal Abyss of the Unknowable, the synthetical hieroglyph of an illimitable pastless futureless PRESENT. To the uttermost bounds of space rushes the Voice of Ages, unheard save in the concentrated unity of the thought-formulated Abstract, and eternally that Voice formulates a Word which is glyphed in the vast ocean of limitless life." - S. MacGregor Mathers. (footnoting Book of the Lesser Holy Assembly, Chp2 verse 65)
[6] - The 'Blue Star' being Spica.
[7a, 7b] - 'Glittering Far and Near', a reference to, "As it is done Above, so shall it be done Below, to accomplish the Miracles of the One Thing.", commonly represented by the Seal of Solomon (aka Star of David), that symbol being hidden in various points in the animated video to this track.
[8] - Difficult concept to explain, but Love is perfect, Sympathy isn't. See the Zohar.
[9] - Conformations of the long, feminine, flowing 'hair' of the Macroprosopus (the Macroprosopus being the 'above', the upward pointing triangle of the Seal.), the mitigation of judgements is associated with this analogy, loosely.
[10] - Hermetic tradition teaches us that music is an operation that can help to synchronise the human with the divine - the most common illustration of this is usually wording involving stringed instruments "tuning you", even as you tune them, almost like a kind of tuning fork, 'dowsing' on a metaphysical level. It may be why this track is full of stringed instruments.
[11a, 11b] - "In the Eyes of the Microprosopus there is both Left and Right; but in the /Eye/ of the Macroprosopus there is only Right."
