Okay, let's say that it was an introduction episode. Even if it was, that doesn't mean that we can't expect more of it. Take Alladin's arc for ecample. Looking at it differently you could say that this was also an introduction episode, because we got introduced to one of the Kou princesses. We get to know her while still having room for a lot of other things. Just because it's an introduction episode, doesn't mean that nothing other than that can happen.
