Since touching it with IB did nothing the spell might have been aimed at something else like his mind. It does mention that he "suddenly smelled flowers" right before the spell activated. I can accept the '
secondary effect' explanation so long as we can see that it doesn't require a magical source to sustain it's effect.
Meaning it doesn't get better just because Kamijou destroyed something.
