This episode was more entertaining than the typical fare, if only because Shinonono Tabane can summon crap from the sky. Tabane is the smartest character in this show - that explains a lot. All that intelligence goes into designing a better carrot ship. One day, Tabane will sail the galaxies in her carrot.

Houki is finally getting the spotlight as she should, after being shafted by 4 consecutive harem additions. We all know that Houki is the true one for Ichika. It was just a matter of attaining the baddest, most rigged IS in the entire show. In the ending harem race, she's in the lead once more.
Ichika's record stands at 0-1-2. One loss, two undecided, and no victories. He better upgrade his sword of plot advancement, and fast.
