Spoiler for 12:
Once again, I've got to say the storytelling and pacing was almost flawless, until the end. From beginning to the mutual confession and the corruption of the watching youth, they had just the right amount of amusing character interaction, delicious Ririchiyo internal monologue and brooding Fox Boy. With special mention of her reaction when she realizes she gave him the wrong letter, and the comments from the peanut gallery as RirichiyOS rebooted from the hard system fault.
But after that, man, they tried to cram soooo much stuff into way too short of time. They should have left Soushi's wish out, as touching of a scene as that could have been, trying to cram that in with the vignettes of all the characters doing random things, it wasn't a good call.
It's frustrating, David Productions gets incredibly close to making fantastically strong episodes, but something is always slightly off, lowering the trajectory from excellent to just good.
My only other complaint is: Why does anime in general not show the all important final kiss?
