Haruhi Suzumiya Hunt floating around in Japan lately?? is this just a rumor? or ahemm...

The internet has made noise after hearing there is new Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu news.
Hidden somewhere all over Japan are Illustrations of Suzumiya Haruhi (picture above) that say “Fever Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu” with a 707 marker code. Scan this marker with your phone and it takes you to a website called “Haruhi Hunter”. Gather all the pieces something will occur.
Unfortunately, the website requires an account and password which I do not have but according to fans it doesn’t say anything but “Gather all the pieces”. What does this mean?
