Laplace's Demon (voiced by Kyousei Tsukui), also lovingly referred to as the "Bastard Bunny." Who is this mysterious character?
"Laplace's Demon" is another mathematical reference in Rozen Maiden, like N-Fields. Pierre-Simon Laplace (1749-1827) was a French mathematicial and astronomer. He believed in causal determinism; that is, every single event is caused by an unbreakable chain of previous events. These events could, therefore, be determined ahead of time. Thus, Laplace's Demon was born.

This intellect is often referred to as Laplace's demon.

Basically, Laplace's Demon is a possible entity which would comprehend all possible forces and items composing a situation, as well as have the computational power to handle all such data. This intellect would then be able to deduce any and all possible outcomes for all situations. It would not
predict the future, but simply know it. It is referred to as a "demon" because no human could possibly be so intelligent or create something with such intelligence.
Stepping away from the literal meaning, we turn to Mr. Bunny. Appearing only in S2 of the anime (though first appearing at the very end of manga Volume 1), it seems true that he knows the future of the Rozen Maiden. He often speaks in riddles, perhaps to give some kind of diluted warning to those who would decypher his words. His place in the Rozen Maiden world is mostly unknown, but he seems to guide the dolls towards the Alice Game. He was probably created or discovered by Rozen but operates independently of him.
In the anime he appears in the real world as the "Enju Doll" shopkeeper, Shirosaki (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai). Shirosaki actively shows a love for dolls and appears generally kind and outgoing towards Jun and Tomoe when they visit the shop. He even allows Jun to watch Enju at work as he creates a doll.
His true form as the tuxedo, top hat wearing rabbit-man appears in the N-Fields. His appearances are usually brief, not helping our understanding of the character. Though he seems to provide support to Enju and Barasuishou throughout most of Träumend, during the false Alice Game he leaves Enju's side. Stating that his time of amusement was over after the dolls were all destroyed, he gathers up the Rosa Mystica.
At this point it is proven that Laplace's Demon is not all-powerful or a God. He cannot fix the broken dolls; Rozen does. In a scene which caused a lot of speculation, not only on the characters but also in a chance of continuation, Laplace's Demon is seen floating through what looks like the corridor between dream worlds, two Rosa Mystica (Souseiseki and Hina-ichigo) in hand. With him is also a serene, smiling Kirakishou. Whether this is further confirmation that Laplace's Demon is Rozen's "right-hand man" or not isn't clear.
These are all the facts we really know about Laplace's Demon. Hopefully you feel a little enlightened now, even if we don't yet understand his true place or motives.
